Did you know that people who fancy themselves artists or merely wish to consort with them eat a lot of sushi? The Observer does, and it has printed a field guide to where the art world likes to consume raw fish. There's Omen, which is frequented by a "more established crowd of artists and curators and critics"; 15 East, which, according to this guy, is "an intellectual place"; and Takahachi, which actual artist Ryan McGinley describes as "the Max's Kansas City of sushi." No one in the story actually talks about the food, but they do seem to enjoy talking about themselves.
