Upstairs, downstairs, Bouley will be back in action.
Although the Tribeca Citizen reported earlier today that David Bouley is shuttering Bouley Upstairs, it seems that the closure is only temporary.

According to the reservationist at Bouley, the chef is not closing the restaurant. Instead, he's temporarily shuttering it for renovation, and he plans to reopen on July 19. Once it's resurrected, the restaurant will serve a select chef's menu on Wednesdays and Thursdays. And there's good news for those mourning the shuttering of Bouley Bakery and Market: It seems that the building's lower level will be once again be open to the public for takeout, offering baked goods and dishes like roast chicken.
