Flex Mussels to Open Downtown by Late July, Early August
While a downtown fish shack gets settled on the Upper East Side, an uptown one gets ready to go south. The new location of Flex Mussels at 154 West 13th Street is expected to open in four to six weeks, according to general manager Jennifer Gavino. The menu will be much the same as the original location's, although the new place will serve brunch.

At the start of the year, Flex withdrew its application for a liquor license, but a month later CB2 gave it a green light. As for the $20 all-you-can-eat special on weekdays, that will probably migrate south, too.
