Weeks after scoring two stars from the Times (and the love of just about every other restaurant critic in town), Annisa is losing its co-owner, wine director, host, and longtime general manager, Jennifer Scism.

Diner's Journal reports that Scism, who opened Annisa in 2000 with Anita Lo, is leaving to be with her husband in Maine. Lo will buy out Scism's share of the restaurant, and will replace her with Gregory Fellows and Michael Cherry, two other longtime employees. Fellows will become the restaurant's host and wine director, while Cherry will take over as office manager. Scism told Diner's Journal that "Anita and I made an agreement that if I stayed and helped rebuild Annisa, trained the new staff and worked with the old, that she would buy me out of my half of the restaurant." She will continue to work with Lo on her forthcoming cookbook.
