Open & Closed: Say Hello to the Original SoupMan, Goodbye to the Doghouse Saloon

Restaurants, they come and they go. Here are a few making their debuts and bowing out this week.

The Doghouse Saloon, which tried to attract punters with free hot dogs and beer pong, has closed after just nine months in operation.

It appear that the Qdoba on Sixth Avenue near 8th Street has shuttered. It's dark inside and the phones are disconnected.

The Original SoupMan -- you know, the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld -- has reopened in the original location, which closed in 2004.

Andrea Dal Monte, an owner of Rome's Michelin-starred Acqualina, has opened Campo de' Fiori in Park Slope.

Pop Art Bar & Restaurant is serving up Italian-accented fare by Nahid De Camillis, a caterer and art collector.
