Taj Mahal Closed for Renovations

Though it has not particularly distinguished itself from its Curry Row neighbors, Taj Mahal is a reliable enough place for mulligatawny soup and shrimp tandoori masala. And, according to one Yelper, it has a "killer sitar player." According to this sign on its gate, it's closed for renovations but will be "open soon." Fortunately, there are at least five other restaurants on East 6th Street where you can find all but identical food.
