Get Free Big Gay Ice Cream Truck Ice Cream at the Mermaid Inn Tonight

The Mermaid Inn will be a little bigger and a little gayer this evening: From 6:30 until 10 p.m., Doug Quint will park his Big Gay Ice Cream Truck outside of the restaurant's East Village outpost to offer free key lime ice cream to any customer bearing one of the Mermaid's signature fortune-teller fish. According to the truck's website, Quint will be serving ice cream to passersby, too, though presumably those without fish will have to pay for the good fortune of stumbling upon superlative soft-serve on Second Avenue.
