Blue Marble's Atlantic Avenue store.

Although Blue Marble has had its share of good fortune since it opened in 2007, its owners are losing their flagship store on Atlantic Avenue in the wake of their landlord's decision to almost double the rent to $3,500 a month. But Brooklyn ice cream aficionados can take heart: Blue Marble still has outposts in Cobble Hill and Prospect Heights, as well as a summer stand at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Also, if you feel like traveling, there's now a Blue Marble in Rwanda.
