Eben Freeman Back Behind the Bar for One Night Only

Eben behind the bar.
Eben Freeman, best known for his smoked Coke and edible cocktails at the now-defunct Tailor, will be behind the bar at Rm.Fifty5 at the Dream Hotel tonight, serving up an array of market-driven cocktails. He'll be joined by Marshall Altier, most recently of the Crosby Bar, and Tim Cooper of GoldBar from 8 p.m. on. They're calling it "Three Men and a Muddler," as a reference to what they'll be doing to all those fresh greenmarket fruits and veggies. There's no cover, just the cost of drinks.

"I just got back from the greenmarket with some amazing anise hyssop flowers, fresh elderberries, chocolate mint, and a ton of fruit," says Freeman in his best efforts to tempt you. "It may be the last chance to see me behind the bar for a while."
