The Next Food Experiment Will Take Place September 12
Following an almost six-month period of dormancy, Nick Suarez and Theo Peck's Food Experiments will return on September 12.

The latest experiment will be the Brooklyn Roots Experiment, which challenges home cooks to "prepare dishes that best represent Brooklyn." Naturally, food/ingredients with Brooklyn roots "will be highlighted and encouraged." Frankies 457 Spuntino's Frank Castronovo will be on hand to judge the results, which one imagines will include lots of pickled produce and, hopefully, an egg cream or two.
The competition will be part of the Farm City Fair, which is in turn part of the annual Crossing the Line festival. To register as a chef or snag a $25 ticket, go here.
