Next on The Next Iron Chef: New York's Marco Canora, Marc Forgione, and Maneet Chauhan

Given that this season of Top Chef has thus far been a plodding disappointment, it comes as a relief that the Food Network has given us something else to look forward to with today's big reveal of who will be competing on Season 3 of The Next Iron Chef.

New York will send three contestants to the kitchen stadium: Hearth's Marco Canora, At Vermillion's Maneet Chauhan, and Marc Forgione's Marc Forgione. Donatella Arpaia will also represent as one of the season's judges alongside Michael Symon and British writer Simon Majumdar. We can't decide what will be more exciting: the competition between the chefs, or watching Symon and Majumdar try to out-bald one another.
