Open & Closed: Say Hello to Le Comptoir, Goodbye to Mantao
Restaurants and bars, they come and they go. Here are a few making their debuts and bowing out this week.
It looks like Mantao, the Chinese sandwich shop that Sarah DiGregorio was happy to see open in Midtown last year, has closed.

Breuckelen, a new restaurant in Cobble Hill, will specialize in local, seasonal fare. The chef-owner, Andrew Karasz, hails from San Francisco.

Sébastien Chamaret, formerly of La Goulue, has opened Le Comptoir in Williamsburg, serving brunch daily until the liquor license is approved, when it will add dinner service.

Momo Sushi Shack in Bushwick is the latest effort from the team behind Bozu in Williamsburg. Look for its patented sushi "bombs": scoops of rice topped with fish.

Williamsburg mainstay Peter's Since 1969 is opening a Hell's Kitchen outpost, which will serve its renowned rotisserie chicken and house-made Polish sausage.

Bazar Bistro is a new Franco-Moroccan, with a menu featuring moules frites du jour, phyllo stuffed with braised chicken and feta, and lamb mitonnee.

The latest antique club to be reborn is Lambs Club in Midtown. David Rabin and Sasha Petraske collaborated to create three separate spaces for dining and cocktailing.

Fisk, a little Swedish market, has opened next to White Slab Palace. It stocks cheeses, sodas, candies, cookies, and other Scandinavian goodies.
