Restaurants and bars, they come and they go. Here are a few making their debuts and bowing out this week.

Andrew's Coffee Shop in the Financial District has shuttered after 31 years in operation. It comes a year after a West 34th Street location of the small chain closed its doors.

It turns out that the temporarily shuttered Gansevoort 69, in the old Florent space, will not reopen. The lease on the space is up for sale for $1 million.

Bazar Mediterranean Bistro is bringing French-accented fare with Iberian and North African influences to Greenwich Village.

Long Island City is getting an auto-themed burger joint called the Burger Garage, which will specialize in burgers, shakes, and homemade desserts.

Harlem is also getting fancy burgers. Mel's Burger Bar will offer the requisite LaFrieda beef, served on potato rolls, focaccia, or sourdough rye, as well as growlers of beer.

The latest venture from chef Ricardo Cardona, of Sofrito and Hudson River Café, is Gabbana, serving modern Dominican food and a list of 50 top-shelf rums.

The team behind Friendhouse is opening Hawkers, with a menu of Indonesian, Malaysian, and other Southeast Asian street foods.

The second Lower East Side location of Ramen Kuidouraku opened at 121 Ludlow Street.
For now, it's strictly BYOB.
