The Third Annual Taste of Greenmarket Is Nigh

With the promise of cooler weather on the horizon, people are once again regaining their appetites for foods whose preparation requires a heat source. Which means only one thing: Fall's all-you-can-gorge tasting events are almost upon us. To wit, the NYC Greenmarket just sent out the announcement for its third annual Taste of Greenmarket, which will take place on October 6. Thirty chefs and mixologists, including Dan Barber, April Bloomfield, Tom Colicchio, and Julie Reiner, will participate; proceeds from the $175 tickets benefit the Greenmarket's Youth Education Project.
