KFC's Skinwich: A Delicious Hoax

The Chicago Tribune breaks the sad news -- shattering the greasy dreams of so many Kentucky Fried Chicken fanatics in the process -- that the Skinwich, a sandwich comprising five layers of KFC's Original Recipe chicken skin, taste-tested on Brain Residue and supposedly available only in a few select test markets, is, in fact, a hoax.
Says a spokesman:
While there is nothing like the taste of KFC's Original Recipe, the best way to enjoy it is on a piece of KFC Original Recipe chicken.
And not, it would appear, layered with American cheese and bacon on a bun. So, for now, the Double Down remains KFC's gross-out favorite. Or is it the Famous Bowl? So many choices ...
