If you don't have any Labor Day plans, consider yourself lucky: That means you'll have the opportunity attend the Asian Feastival, a culinary fantasia taking place in Queens.

The fest (feast?) will feature a slew of panels on subjects ranging from New Asian Cuisine to Understanding Sustainable Seafood, with panelists including Eddie Huang, Francis Lam, Cathy Erway, Andy Yang, and Lee Anne Wong. There will be a bike tour led by Youngsun Lee (of the late and lamented Persimmon) through the Queens County Farm Museum and a local Korean community garden; a walking and tasting tour with Joe DiStefano that will explore the Golden Shopping Mall; and more than 40 tastes from 20 restaurants, including M & T Restaurant, Dosa Place, and Himalayan Yak. General admission tickets cost $55 in advance and $60 at the door; more information can be found here.
