Eben Freeman Will Oversee the Altamarea Group's Bar Operations
A few weeks ago, Eben Freeman told Chantal that his guest stint at the Dream Hotel's Rm.Fifty5 "may be the last chance to see me behind the bar for a while." But if you happen to be dining at one of the Altamarea Group's growing number of restaurants, you'll be able to imbibe the former Tailor cocktail maven's creations.
Eben Freeman rises again.
According to a release from the group's reps, Freeman has been named Altamarea's director of bar operations and innovations. That means that he'll oversee the bar program at each of the group's restaurants -- in the immediate future, he'll concentrate on opening Osteria Morini this month, and the Setai's Ai Fiori later this fall. In addition, Freeman will be responsible for training the bartenders and accompanying bar staff at each of Altamarea's restaurants, and he will work with Michael White to concoct what Altamarea CEO/owner Ahmass Fakahany describes as "new tastes and new ideas."
