Brooklyn Farmacy Brings Eggs, Cream to the Brooklyn Flea This Saturday

It's been more than a year since Sarah waged a battle of the egg creams between Russ & Daughters' and Katz's, but both Nikki Cascone's forthcoming Octavia's Porch and the folks at Brooklyn Farmacy are giving us all sorts of reasons to want to stage a follow-up. While Cascone's egg creams won't be available until later this fall, the Carroll Gardens soda fountain is bringing an egg cream cart to the Brooklyn Flea beginning this Saturday. The egg creams will be made with hormonally correct Hudson Valley Fresh milk and U-Bet chocolate syrup and garnished with a pretzel stick, and there will also be cherry lime rickeys. In other words, liquid sustenance to look forward to.
