Beginning November 7, Essex Street Market Will Be Open on Sundays

Yesterday at the New Amsterdam Market, Saxelby Cheesemonger's Benoit Breal told us that beginning in early November, the shop will be open on Sundays. And Saxelby isn't the only one catering to shoppers' weekend appetites: per the Lo-Down, the whole market will be open on Sundays 10 a.m.- 6 p.m., beginning on November 7. We're looking forward to this for numerous reasons, not the least of which is that we can't wait to see how cheerful Kenny Shopsin looks bright and early on a Sunday morning.
