Revenge is sweet, and crumbly.

A year after the Bronx's Stella D'Oro biscuit factory closed, the National Labor Relations Board has ruled that the factory's owners violated federal labor law by refusing to provide the necessary financial statements to the workers' union during wage negotiations last year. As a result, Crain's reports, the former workers could get millions in back pay and benefits, with interest; the amount could total between $3 million and $4 million. Although Stella D'Oro could appeal the ruling, an attorney for the NLRB told Crain's that the company had already set aside the money just in case.

Incidentally, there's a documentary about the workers' yearlong strike in the works for HBO. And the factory is still for sale, should anyone have $30 million burning a hole in their pocket.
