Johnny Iuzzini Is Definitely, Absolutely, Not Working for Michael White

Earlier today, Eater heard that Johnny Iuzzini, he of Jean Georges and the upcoming Top Chef: Just Desserts, would be taking his pompadour and pastry tools to Michael White and Chris Cannon's Altamarea Group.
But although Altamarea has certainly been busy securing talent lately -- see: Freeman, Eben -- it apparently hasn't been trying to lure Iuzzini from his comfortable position within the JGV empire. Although Eater already published a correction, the folks from Altamarea HQ are making it official with the following:
"Chef Michael White states that he is not, nor are any members of The Altamarea Group, currently in talks with Iuzzini regarding a pastry position."
Nothing to see here, folks. Until next Wednesday, that is, when Johnny flashes his tats and key chain to the rest of America.
