From the ashes of the former Jeollado space on East 4th Street has risen Mono+Mono, a Korean fried chicken joint promising both poultry and vinyl. The so-called Analog Music Pub and Eatery first made its intentions public at the end of August, promising on its website "the best Korean fried chicken seasoned with over 30,000 vinyl jazz music spun by D.J." Its original opening date was September 15, but now, according to the website, the opening is set for September 25 at 4 p.m. Meanwhile, there's no word on when Midtown can expect the restaurant's second location on Fifth Avenue and 32nd Street.
