Shacktoberfest Begins This Friday

Not an actual Shake Shack employee.

Beginning this Friday, Oct. 1 and running through Sunday, Oct. 10, Shake Shack will observe Oktoberfest with Shacktoberfest, an extravaganza of sausage, beer, and bad puns. The menu follows after the jump, just as even longer lines will undoubtedly follow on Oct. 1.

An assortment of Usinger's sausages:
Garlic Sausage, $4.75

Polish-style Garlic Sausage cooked flat-top style topped with Bacon n' Beer Cheese Sauce (with ShackMeister Ale), finished with crushed pretzels

Currywurst and Fries, $5.25

Traditional sliced Bratwurst topped with a Shack-made tomato sauce with curry, served with fries

Hungarian Smoked Sausage, $4.25

Split and griddled, served with Düsseldorf mustard

Two special concretes ($6.25 each): Cranberry Almond Streusel and German Chocolate Cake.

Expanded beverage menu featuring seasonal beers from artisanal breweries (Shacktoberfest Stein is available for purchase). Each Shack will sell a different beer:
Madison Square Park: Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale, Southern Tier Harvest Ale, Blue Point Oktoberfest

Upper West Side: Otter Creek Oktoberfest, Southampton Pumpkin Ale, Penn Brewing Co. Kaiser Pils

Theater District: Goose Island Harvest Ale, Ithaca Beer Company Cold Front, Harpoon Oktoberfest

Upper East Side: Brooklyn Brewery Oktoberfest, Peak Organic Summit Ale, Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
