Steve Cuozzo, crap-free.
A couple weeks after Our Man Sietsema published his 10 easy diet rules, the Post's Steve Cuozzo has followed suit with a column detailing the weight loss that followed his diagnosis with Type 2 diabetes.

Basically, he cut all of the crap out of his diet -- junk food, Starbucks scones, fruit juice -- and lost 20 pounds in a year. Now, he writes, "at age 60, I wake up with energy I haven't known in 20 years." Refreshingly, he still eats pasta and bread and even the occasional dessert, underscoring the commonsense, everything-in-moderation philosophy espoused by the Sietsema weight loss plan and pretty much everyone else who isn't trying to sell you something and/or give you explosive diarrhea.
