Stephen Starr's New West Village Restaurant Will Jump on the Meaty Bandwagon

Likes big restaurants.
Via Eater we learn that Philly restaurant magnate Stephen Starr (owner of Morimoto and Buddakan, among others) was at the Community Board 2 meeting last night, where he was approved to open a new restaurant at 2 Bank Street in the West Village.

The 223-seat restaurant will be "meat-centric" with a zeitgeist-appropriate retail area and butcher shop up front.
