Remember the cannibal restaurant that we told you about, the one that was angering Berliners with requests for body parts, but was probably a hoax? It's a hoax!
Apparently, the whole marketing campaign was a tone-deaf hoax perpetrated by vegetarian activists trying to draw a moral parallel between cannibalism and meat-eating in general. It backfired because, relatively recently, a Berliner was murdered by an actual cannibal.
