Van Leeuwen, Rickshaw Among Food Trucks That Will Park Outside of Tavern on the Green

One day, Tavern on the Green may well become another restaurant, but until then, the city has chosen a few food trucks to park outside of it.
The party continues outside of Tavern on the Green.
Crain's reports that beginning October 15, Van Leeuwen, Rickshaw Dumpling, Ladle of Love, and Pera Mediterranean Brasserie will be selling their wares where the Crystal Room once stood. They'll be parked there from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., and will have the opportunity to apply for liquor licenses.
This is the first mobile outing for both Pera, a Midtown Turkish restaurant, and Ladle of Love, a Westchester shop that peddles soup, salads, sandwiches, and, ostensibly, ardor.
