For Thanksgiving, Torrisi Is Talking Turkey

turk.png

Having already done their part to revamp the San Gennaro Festival, the folks at Torrisi Italian Specialties are turning their attention to Thanksgiving. Per Serious Eats, they'll be selling their much-acclaimed slow-roasted turkey breasts for $16 per pound beginning on November 1. If you're more of the DIY kind, both the Meat Hook and Dickson's Farmstand Meats are letting customers pre-order their Thanksgiving turkeys, all of which come from Amish and Mennonite farms in Pennsylvania, where they've been raised cage- and hormone-/antibiotic-free.
