'inoteca Empire Expanding to Tribeca and Williamsburg

Along with cupcake bakeries and Michael Huynh, we can now add the Denton brothers to the list of the expansion-minded: in a conversation with Eater, Jason Denton made public his plans to open broaden the 'inoteca empire he owns with his brother.

The Dentons plan to open an "Italian spirited" restaurant in Williamsburg in "five or six months." Their second, in Tribeca, will, per Denton, open in two to three months and "be our first step out of Italian, small plates but a move towards French and a more Mediterranean feel." It will have 65 seats and be in a "fun" but as yet undisclosed part of the neighborhood.

Of the North Williamsburg area where his restaurant will open, Denton enthuses, "It reminds me of when we opened the 'inoteca on the Lower East Side ten years ago. It has the same raw feel." The last we heard, the only thing remotely raw about that part of Williamsburg was how high the landlords have raised the rent, but hey, a man can dream.
