Gabe Stulman Opens Jeffrey's Grocery

Mr. Stulman, clad in plaid.
Gabe Stulman is now one step closer to realizing his dreams of turning the West Village into an eastern outpost of Wisconsin: per Grub Street, he's opened the doors to Jeffrey's Grocery, a "mom 'n' pop" shop cum luncheonette. The place sounds and looks very reminiscent of Market Table, Stulman's earlier venture with Mikey Price and Joey Campanaro, which Stulman describes calls a "failure in execution." Ouch. Time will tell how the second coming, with its bottles of Sriarcha, jars of Dijon, and menu of salads, sandwiches, and chilled seafood, fares.
