Gabe Stulman Opens Jeffrey's Grocery
Gabe Stulman is now one step closer to realizing his dreams of turning the West Village into an eastern outpost of Wisconsin: per Grub Street, he's opened the doors to Jeffrey's Grocery, a "mom 'n' pop" shop cum luncheonette. The place sounds and looks very reminiscent of Market Table, Stulman's earlier venture with Mikey Price and Joey Campanaro, which Stulman describes calls a "failure in execution." Ouch. Time will tell how the second coming, with its bottles of Sriarcha, jars of Dijon, and menu of salads, sandwiches, and chilled seafood, fares.![]()
