Leonard Lopate: radio host, thoughtful locavore.
The latest to come down the fall-food-festival wire is this: WNYC's Leonard Lopate will host the three-day Lopate and Locavores festival from November 7 to 9. The event, held in the Greene Space, will feature panels on plant diversity, cheese, and small-scale farmers raising chickens for eggs. Panelists will include Anne Saxelby, Keith McNally, Bill Telepan, and Aureole's Chris Lee; tickets for the entire festival are $60, or $25 for each panel.
