Lowcountry to Add Fried Chicken and Football Dinners

This Saturday, Lowcountry, the new Southern restaurant in the West Village, will start offering the requisite brunch, featuring a Kentucky hot brown and shrimp and grits with country ham and red-eye gravy, among other dishes.
More interesting, though, are the restaurant's new fried chicken and football dinners, to be held Monday nights starting on October 25. The set menu goes for $19 and includes sweet-tea-brined fried chicken and a choice of two sides from a list of macaroni salad, potato salad, coleslaw, and barbecued black-eyed peas. And, of course, football games will be shown.
