Tabla Kicks Off Farewell Celebrations This Evening
Tabla may be closing on Dec. 30, but it's treating its remaining two-and-a-half months as a party rather than a funeral. This evening there will be a perfectly-timed Indian Summer Patio Party: from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., there will be $5 drinks including cocktails, beer, and wine, free hors d'oeuvres from Chef Floyd Cardoz, and live music. 
The party kicks off a slew of farewell events that will include a Nov. 8 Diwali celebration, four-course beer-pairing dinner with Brooklyn Brewery on Nov. 17, a New Indian dinner on Nov. 29, and a Dec. 4 cooking class with Cardoz. Further information can be found on the Tabla Web site.
