Xie Xie is Shuttered

Given how much attention Top Chef forced us to pay to Angelo Sosa, we're shocked - shocked! - to realize that we missed the news, buried in Florence Fabricant's Off the Menu column yesterday, that Xie Xie has closed. Per Fabricant, Sosa's Asian sandwich shop, which opened in Hell's Kitchen in July of last year, has shuttered permanently and hopes to move. Where it will move remains to be seen, but we have it on good authority that Russia seems to be experiencing a shortage of fish cha ca la vong.
