Apparently the doughnut delirium gripping Zac Young is contagious: over in Clinton Hill, the folks at Choice Market are also planning to open a doughnut shop.

According to Eddie Atchouke, the manager at Choice's Lafayette Avenue location, the company is planning to open the shop, called Dough, in early December. Located by the intersection of Lafayette and Franklin Avenues, it will offer five to seven kinds of yeast doughnuts; Atchouke says they're still nailing down which flavors will appear on the roster.

What is more certain is that the doughnuts will be sold alongside Stumptown coffee, making the shop a destination for caffeine snobs and carb junkies alike. The hours of operation, at least to start, will be 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
