Television host, eater, writer: A true Renaissance woman.
Life just got a little sweeter for Top Chef: Just Desserts host Gail Simmons. According to Eater, Simmons has nabbed a deal with Hyperion to write her memoir, Talking With My Mouth Full.

In addition to her television hosting and judging duties, Simmons is the special projects director at Food & Wine magazine. Before that, she worked the line at Le Cirque 2000 and Vong, was an assistant to Vogue food writer (and omnivore par excellence) Jeffrey Steingarten, and was a special events manager for Daniel Boulud's Dinex Group. Not too shabby for someone who is only 34 years old.

Look for the book in early 2012. Until then, you can get your Simmons fix when Top Chef: All-Stars premieres on December 1.
