La Bella Torte Opens Holiday Pop-Up Location in Williamsburg
You might know La Bella Torte as one of the vendors at the ever-so-short-lived Greenpoint Food Market. Chef-owner Joe Glaser will soon also be recognizable as a contestant on TLC's Cake Boss spin-off, The Next Great Baker. Tomorrow, November 9, through December 31, you'll be able to find him and his wife, AnnMarie, at a temporary La Bella Torte shop located in an Uncle Louie G branch (341 Graham Avenue) in Williamsburg.
Cannolis popping up.
La Bella Torte's gourmet Italian pastries include cannolis, cookies, cakes, biscotti, spicy brownies, and Hudson Valley apple muffins, and will be served at the shop alongside drip coffee, espresso drinks, and other hot and cold beverages. The Glasers started La Bella Torte in 2003, and it has since grown into a successful traveling and online pastry shop. You can also find their baked goods on the menu at Sel de Mer.
