If the cheftastic display at Barneys has kindled the holiday spirit within, get thee to Rolf's, the restaurant that doesn't know the meaning of holding back when it comes to Christmas.
EV Grieve reports that Rolf's (281 Third Avenue, 212-473-8718), the Gramercy German restaurant that's usually under the radar except for during the month of December, has put up its decorations early this year. But who cares if the holiday is still six weeks away! 'Tis the season to gorge on highly caloric food amid twinkling lights! And really, what goes better with spätzle and a sausage platter than a side of Santa Claus?
