IHOP Is Coming to Times Square, Everywhere Else

You will soon enough.

In a boon to tourists, nocturnal stoners, and everyone else who wants New York to look even more like the rest of America, IHOP has just announced its plans to open a big ol' flagship restaurant in Times Square -- as well as 24 more locations throughout Manhattan and Queens, according to Nation's Restaurant News. An executive who's part of the development deal said that "Times Square is missing that something special IHOP will bring," though he declined to specify what, exactly, that something is. Cheesecake-stuffed pancakes? Cinn-a-Stack waffles? Personally, if we're going to get yet another chain, we'd prefer a Waffle House, but at least IHOP doesn't seem to have a history of dumping its grease all over Brooklyn's marine life.
