GQ's Alan Richman adds his voice to the year-end roundups today with his annual list of the 10 Best New Restaurants in America. Representing New York: Lincoln and the Kitchen at Brooklyn Fare. In a sharp divergence from thus far otherwise restrained critical praise, Richman names the former his No. 1 pick, and lauds Jonathan Benno's "remarkably thoughtful," "rigorously Italian" food. As for Brooklyn Fare, he pronounces its "outrageously fabulous" cuisine "of the moment and of the market."
