WTF: Nate Appleman is Cooking at Chipotle?

We're still waiting for the "gotcha!" on this one. Apparently, Nate Appleman, who left his cultish A16 in San Francisco to head up the kitchen at Keith McNally's scene-y Pulino's, is now cooking at none other than Chipotle.

Grub Street reports that the James Beard Rising Star Chef Award winner was hired in the hopes of improving the model and ingredients at the chain.
"I make burritos," he tells Grub Street, adding that he took the gig, in part, to have a greater impact on how Americans eat. Ummm ... OK. So, this is for real, then?
