Toloache Taqueria Is Open

Yesterday, Toloache's Julian Medina told us about his plans for Toloache Taqueria, his new Financial District fast-casual Mexican spot selling "guacamole and chips, tortilla soup, chicken pozole, and braised pork with noodle soup. And three different salads. And there'll be grilled chicken tacos and brisket ones. And Mexican chocolate pork, fish tinga ..."

All of that has now come to fruition: Toloache Taqueria opened for business at 83 Maiden Lane earlier today. The restaurant will soon spawn a second location on the Upper East Side, and does, naturally, have a Twitter feed.
