Westville East Is Closed for Renovations, but Will Reopen January 3

It's been a busy year in home improvements for Westville East, which sparked a bit of a neighborhood kerfuffle earlier this year with its application for a sidewalk café. The Avenue A restaurant has now turned its attentions inward: According to signs posted in its papered-up windows, the restaurant will be closed for renovations until January 3. Per its website, its other locations in Chelsea and the West Village will remain open.
