Cops Love Magnolia Bakery, Too!

Unidentified officers emerge from the bakery bearing their treasure.
Fifteen minutes ago traffic came to a halt on slush-choked Bleecker Street as a squad car, lights flashing, propelled up the thoroughfare in the wrong direction.
Pedestrians scrambled out of the way with difficulty as the police car executed a three-point turn and then backed up into West 11th Street, coming to rest in a snowdrift.
Two officers hopped out, looking furtively in both directions. Then they went into Magnolia Bakery, only to emerge five minutes later bearing a (probably free) box of cupcakes and cups of coffee.
Didn't you always wonder where the cop car was headed as it went screaming by?
Mmmm, I smell cupcakes.
