The joy of burger.

After hiding behind plywood for months, Joy Burger Bar's new branch at 361 Sixth Avenue will finally open to the public tomorrow, according to both a sign posted in its window last night and its Twitter feed.

The restaurant, a downtown branch of the East Harlem original, will be open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to midnight. While the city is no stranger to burger joints, Joy's hook is that it offers customers a choice of 12 different sauces to add to three different burger sizes (three-, five-, and eight-ounce patties). So find out tomorrow how this newcomer stacks up against the competition. And while you're at it, take note of the logo -- doesn't the font resemble that used for the Joy of Cooking cookbook? Subliminal marketing, perhaps?
