Modernism Highlights the Frank Lloyd Wrights of Gingerbread House Making
Modernism Gingerbread house by Charlie.
Gingerbread-house season has come and gone, with some winners and many, many failures. But two edible houses are worth a final glimpse -- the just-announced finalists in Modernism magazine's contest, which judged entries based upon "how true to modernist design the houses were, creativity and construction." Alyssa went for a classic approach, but it's hard not to favor Charlie's house. It has a swimming pool, after all, and a sort of Miami-meets-Kyoto color scheme going on. But the choice can be yours. Vote on the magazine's Facebook page to decide who wins. And then start practicing for next year. This is one activity that probably is as hard as it looks.
