Rock on, young rock-themed restaurant.
Rockography, the new Andrew Alford-designed rock 'n' roll-themed restaurant that has been described as a "young and more authentic version of a Hard Rock Café," is set to open in mid-February. It will occupy the space freed up by MaximoPino at Sixth Avenue and 13th Street.

Contrary to what was previously reported, the space will not house a build-your-own Nathan's hot dog bar. Instead, it will feature "classic all-American dishes with a tuned up twist," including chicken and waffles, truffled mac 'n' cheese, and milkshakes. And the main focal point of the space will be an art gallery installment from acclaimed rock photojournalist Chris Walter.
