Slashfood Readers Aroused by Fictional Hermaphrodites
Those who can't wait to wallow in the shallow waters of Eater's Hottest Chef competition can dip their toes in the equally murky waters of Slashfood's second-annual roundup of the 10 Hottest Men in the Food Industry.

This year, the site has asked its readers to decide who makes the list. And what a revealing list it is. Judging by their No. 1 pick, Ruth Bourdain, Slashfood's readers are sexually aroused by fictional hermaphrodites.
TV also seems to be a turn-on: Top Chef's Tom Colicchio, Eric Ripert, and Anthony Bourdain all made the list, as did the Food Network's Tyler Florence and Bobby Flay, who we still maintain are actually the same person. Pretty, sensitive Jamie Oliver is also there, as is the equally pretty and possibly sensitive Curtis Stone. More disturbingly, so is Gordon Ramsay, which suggests Slashfood's readers also have a thing for deep-seated anger-management issues.
For its part, Ruth Bourdain has Tweeted that it is "deeply honored and extremely insulted" by the title, and asks "shouldn't you include me in the hottest females? WTF?"
