On the heels of last weekend's
Cassoulet Cook-Off comes the welcome news that more is on the way, courtesy of Savoy.

Beginning February 1, the restaurant will hold its seventh annual Cassoulet Festival, a monthlong celebration of the traditional southwestern French dish of beans and meat. It will be available at both lunch and dinner through February 28, replete with smoked pork belly, Toulouse sausage, duck confit, and braised pork shoulder.

As a formal kickoff to the festivities, the restaurant will host a $65 cassoulet tasting on Saturday, February 5, that will feature the chefly ministrations of Wylie Dufresne, Marc Meyer, Shanna Pacifico, Brian Leth, Adam Schop, Kevin Pumplun, and Savoy's own Ryan Tate.
