The Meatball Shop Sets Its Sights on the West Village

A couple of nights ago, in between making port toddies (hot toddies with port) and expounding upon their "secret to a great meatball" on Jimmy Fallon, the Meatball Shop's Michael Chernow and Daniel Holzman revealed that in addition to their upcoming location in Williamsburg, they're also planning to expand into the West Village. According to Grub Street, the restaurant will be located at 64 Greenwich Avenue -- formerly the home of a tanning center -- and should open sometime in the summer. Resistance is futile.
